Marcus was able take the suspect into custody without incident and obtain a partial confession. The suspect is currently awaiting trial on several serious felony charges, ranging from burglary to felony child abuse. This was an excellent example of follow through and attention to detail in Marcus’ investigations. His hard work in this case was very much appreciated.

MENTEM CORPORI SPIRITUM

don’t try this alone…

Getting a job is tough. Getting a job you enjoy is next to impossible. Fortunately, I discovered something I genuinely enjoy. Don’t take my word for it; if you are remotely interested in public safety work, stop by for a visit. Police, Fire and EMS are there to serve YOU. Our doors are open to the public and you have every right to come on in, meet your public servants and inquire as to what we are doing to keep you safe and address your concerns. And, if you are thinking about joining us, come along for a ride. Contact your local agency and request a visit in advance. If you live in area like mine, the agency will surpass your expectations. This is also an important step if you are a little intimidated by all of the apparatus; you’ll get a sense of who we are behind the badge and you’ll soon realize we are just ordinary people… who do extraordinary things.

Additionally, if you are seriously entertaining the idea of becoming a cop, firefighter, EMT, probations / corrections officer or even dispatcher, I highly recommend enrolling in the IPR Block I. Instead of investing thousands of dollars and semesters of time in a college program from the onset, you will get what you need to know and do in only three, information-packed sessions.

Especially in busier jurisdictions, the competition can be massive. For every job vacancy, there can be 50-100 applicants. Fortunately, with only modest steps in advance, you can easily distinguish yourself from the average applicant, and greatly increase your desirability and “hire-abilty”.

Don’t waste time deliberating and collecting scraps of information. Register for Block I and you will be relieved to see the process is explained and laid out for you. All you have to do is show up and follow the steps. And, you will receive hard copies and a thumbdrive of simple checklists and templates (police resume’, cover letters, etc.) so you do not have to start from scratch or figure out the best methods. I’ll help you to adequately prepare your mind, body and spirit for a truly rewarding career.

I have devoted the last 20 years to becoming an expert in the field. I am one of the very few professionals who can truly say “I love what I do”. And, I love helping people get into this field.

I’m looking forward to meeting you.

Very Respectfully,

Marcus Mahanty
